Dear OMLTA Members and Friends:

We hope that everyone is enjoying the beginning of a well-deserved summer. The 2019-20 academic year has been an extraordinary one.

As we navigate the realities of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, we announce the postponement of the 2020 OMLTA/AOPLV Spring Conference to Spring of 2021. Please follow our website and social media for ongoing updates over the coming months.

We sincerely appreciate all of our members and conference participants. We will work with those who have paid conference registration fees to provide a full refund via PayPal for those registration fees over the following weeks.

We also want to take a moment to thank our workshop presenters and vendors for their continued support. It is your dedication and participation that make our annual conferences the outstanding events that inspire teachers to return year after year.

During these exceptional times, please know that the OMLTA Board of Directors and staff continue to work to organize and execute the best professional development for FSL and International Languages teachers, as well as furthering our commitment to advocacy, best practices, and collaboration. We will shortly be announcing some exciting virtual learning opportunities taking place later this summer. Please watch our website and social media platforms for more information!

Thank you for being a part of our organization and for staying connected with the OMLTA/AOPLV. On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to wish you all a safe and healthy summer.

Sincerely,

Josette Bosc
OMLTA/AOPLV President, 2020-2021
