The OMLTA, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is pleased to announce two (2) more professional learning opportunities for International Languages teachers, focusing on the revised Classical & International Languages Curriculum. The workshops will provide an opportunity to explore the changes in the curriculum, with an emphasis on applying the information in planning, assessment and instructional strategies.  Participants will have the time to collaborate with other colleagues to consolidate their understandings of the revised document and to create practical resources for implementation in the classroom.  The sessions will also introduce the International Language Fact Sheets that quick tips, and ideas directly connected to the new curriculum.  Sessions are identical so only register in one of the workshops.

A second workshop will take place on Saturday October 28th,from 8:30-2:30 at the Ambassador Conference Resort in Kingston Ontario.  Please visit OMLTA International Languages Workshop Registration: October 28, 2017 to register.

The sessions are open to all International Language teachers, and is free to attend. Participants will receive copies of resources, and have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with colleagues from across the province.  Lunch and parking are included.  Please register to either session early, as space is limited.
