A very special version of the 2015 OMLTA/AOPLV Spring Conference is rapidly approaching. We have been working closely with the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) and the International Federation of Language Teacher Associations (FIPLV) to put on the World Congress of Modern Languages which will be held in spectacular Niagara Falls, Ontario, March 26-28, 2015, and will attract over 1,000 participants from across Canada and around the world. An impressive number of plenary sessions, round tables, workshops, and presentations will engage you in discussions on innovative pedagogies, latest research, policy, new technologies, diverse strategies, and best classroom practices. Exhibitors will be there to offer important resources, and social events will contribute to the unique opportunity to learn, network, and relax while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and the company of like-minded delegates. Browse the Congress Page at http://www.caslt.org/conference15/conference2015_en.php for additional information on the unique professional development opportunity this event offers. Full details of registration and accommodation fees are also available. As always, OMLTA/AOPLV members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting as well as the Awards Ceremony which will both be part of the exciting program of events in Niagara. Although online registration is already open for CASLT members, OMLTA members (and joint OMLTA/CASLT members) will be invited to register from January 2, 2015 onwards at www.omlta.org Reminders of this will be sent out as soon as the registration window opens.
