GRANTS FOR CANADIAN AND
AMERICAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
TEACHING ASSISTANTS
IN SPAIN FOR 2012-13
(ENGLISH OR FRENCH LANGUAGES)
There are around 2,000 positions available all over Spain for university graduates or undergraduate students who have completed at least two full years of college or university. The positions are offered in the K-12 public school system and public language schools. Applications will be accepted online from NOVEMBER 7, 2011 through MARCH 31, 2012. Grants will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, among eligible candidates; therefore it is important to apply as soon as possible.
Assistants will get a minimum monthly allowance of 700 € after taxes (975 CAD, as of November, 2011). The duration of the grant is eight months: October 2012 to May 2013. Assistants will also be provided with medical insurance.
Over 2,000 Canadian and US assistants are currently part of this program in Spain.
